The Play-In of the Kings League Spain kicked off the Playoff Week in spectacular fashion. After three thrilling matches, the quarterfinal bracket was completed with xBuyer Team securing their spot.
xBuyer Team defeated El Barrio 7-4 in a Play-In final marked by intensity and quality football. Although Adri Contreras’ team fought until the last moment in search of a comeback, the macarra side controlled the game from start to finish, led by an inspired Galde Hugue, to clinch their ticket to the quarterfinals.
It was xBuyer Team who opened the day with a commanding 7-4 victory over Skull FC, powered by brilliant performances from Albert López and Galde Hugue, who scored a hat-trick and a brace respectively. On the other hand, Marcelo’s team ended their run in the competition after failing to spring a surprise on their Play-In debut.
The second Play-In match between PIO FC and El Barrio was much tighter, ending in a 5-6 win for Adri Contreras’ side. Despite Samy Rivers’ squad leveling the game during Matchball mode after trailing for most of the match, Naoufal Talkam made the difference with a stunning goal that sparked wild celebrations and secured El Barrio’s passage.
Only winning counts. With the Play-In concluded, the Playoff Week enters its most decisive phase, where the eight remaining teams will give their all to claim the crown of the sixth split.
