Two-time Olympic champion Alexander Kozhevnikov shared his thoughts on the game of Minnesota Wild forward Kirill Kaprizov.
The 29-year-old forward scored a goal and provided two assists in Game 3 of the second round Stanley Cup series against Colorado (5:1, 1-2). Kaprizov now has 14 points (4 goals, 10 assists) in nine playoff games this NHL season, with a plus-11 rating. He has moved into sole possession of first place in the playoff scoring race.
“Kaprizov is alone at the top of the NHL playoff scoring race. How do you rate this achievement for Kirill?”
“It’s great that Kirill is in good form. He’s a class player and proves that Minnesota was right to bet on him. But it’s still too early to talk about anything, because they’re only in the quarterfinals now, so it’s too early to sing his praises. God willing, he continues like this and they keep moving forward,” Kozhevnikov said.
