Arsenal Tula played out an entertaining 2-2 draw with Volgograd’s Rotor in the 32nd round of the PARI First League. The home side, known as the “Gunners,” secured goals from midfielders Igor Gorbunov (45+5′) and Alan Tsaraev (67′). For Rotor, midfielder Alexander Troshchekin (32′) and forward Said Aliev (77′) found the net.

Under head coach Dmitry Gunk, Arsenal Tula have collected 39 points from 32 matches, placing them 12th in the league standings. Meanwhile, Dmitry Parfenov’s Rotor side sit fourth with 53 points.

The match saw Arsenal dominate possession and attempts on goal, registering 11 total shots and 11 on target compared to Rotor’s 6 and 2, respectively. However, Rotor’s efficiency in front of goal kept them in the contest. Both teams earned corners (6 each), while Arsenal received four yellow cards to Rotor’s one. The officiating crew was led by referee Danil Kashirin from Ufa.

The result leaves Arsenal in mid-table obscurity, while Rotor remain in contention for promotion places. The two sides will now turn their focus to the final two rounds of the season.
